FEATURES OF THE OFF-GRID SOLAR SYSTEMS:
The energy systems designed for Off-Grid living for the residents of the Alps of Volcan will have the following features and benefits; the 3500 watt solar systems have been sized according to the amount of daily sunlight received at the Alps of Volcan and according to the size and specifications of the model homes for the community. We expect the solar panels to produce about 640 KHz per month which should meet the energy needs of the average resident.
The battery system has been upgraded to a capacity of 380 Amp hours which should run the average home for 18 hours in the event that there is no sunlight, or if the power demands of the house exceed the solar production of the panels.
In addition to the battery storage capacity, each sys-tem will include a propane generator which will automatically recharge the batteries in the event that solar power is not available or the demands of the house exceed the production of the panels. Our systems are so programmable that we can even program the generators not to run at night so as not to be disturbing, the solar controller has been designed to be oversized so that up to 2000 watts of additional solar panels can be added to the system without the need to purchase any additional equipment.
Our inverter is a UL approved true sine wave inverter which means your electrical equipment (computers, appliances, and act.) will function just as though they are on grid without the threat of harm due to surges or "dirty power".
Each lot will be inspected by Earth Energy Construction along with homeowner and the solar array will be designed according to the owner's preferences and the features of the lot. We offer both ground mounted solar arrays and roof mounted arrays.
The warranty provided to the residents of the Alps of Volcan is second to none. All systems will come with a full 5 year warranty including full labor support which will cover all components of the system. Additionally, the warranty on the system inverter will be extended to 10 years and the warranty on the solar panels is 25 years!
